Rolesummary
The Audio-Visual Associate is a member of the on-site Williams Lea team delivering exceptional customer service at our client locations.
Shift: M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Responsibilities- Set up and break down meeting conferencing equipment: laptops, projectors, telephones, star phones, plasma screens and other media equipment.
- Immediately escalate operational problems or issues to Supervisor or Manager.
- Handle client concerns and be able to problem-solve resolutions in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Intake jobs by interpreting and understanding client requests, and coordinate workflow within the team, prioritizing jobs and delegating duties to associates.
- Conduct and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain efficient workflow and assure client satisfaction.
- Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately and within deadlines.
- Assess incoming requests, selecting the best equipment and/or resources for successful completion.
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation as required.
- Additional duties may include setting up conference rooms with audio/visual equipment and/or furniture configuration, mail and messenger services, food and beverage services, reception coverage, visitor check-in, support large or complex projects, immediate client requests, etc.
- Utilize appropriate logs for all office services work.
- Ensure that job tickets are properly filled out before beginning work.
- Meet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all work.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment problems.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Prioritize workflow and answer telephone, emails, and place service calls when needed.
- Interact with clients in person, over the phone or electronically.
- Adhere to Williams Lea policies in addition to client site policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years audio visual services experience, preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environment.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with and troubleshooting audio and video equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
- Exceptional customer service skills to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
- Able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy.
- Good problem solving skills, with the ability to escalate a problem to a supervisory level when needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
