Business Development Representative (Territory: California, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Illinois)

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a high‑growth, full‑time sales role that partners closely with the sales and marketing teams. The BDR identifies, engages, and qualifies qualified businesses, driving them into Vantaca’s sales funnel.

    Regularly speaks with customers to understand needs and enhances Vantaca processes.

Responsibilities
  • Research and prospect qualified businesses nationwide using social media, email, and Vantaca’s database.
  • Set discovery meetings for assigned Account Executives.
  • Travel with or without the AE to host conferences and engage prospects.
  • Contact prospects via phone, email, social media, and other outreach methods.
  • Assess lead interest, fit the target profile, and validate budget/authority.
  • Schedule online meetings for qualified leads with AE in assigned territories.
  • Engage in lead nurturing for leads not ready to purchase, maintaining regular contact to build relationships.
  • Manage and update the CRM with accurate, up‑to‑date lead and interaction data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience with cold calling preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Previous customer support experience.
  • 30% travel required.
