The Opportunity — The County Executive’s Office seeks well-qualified candidates for the position of Management Analyst

What You Will Do
Working closely with the Assistant and Deputy County Executives, you will:
- Strategic Analysis & Research
- Conduct research on priority County initiatives—homelessness, public safety, economic development, childcare, and emerging executive priorities.
- Build analytical products and dashboards that clarify trends and inform decision pathways.
- Project & Program Leadership
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple work streams.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements grounded in data and stakeholder input.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and community stakeholders to advance Countywide goals.
- Plan and implement convenings, outreach, and engagement efforts with partners and key stakeholders as needed to implement program objectives.
- Executive Communications
- Prepare concise, compelling written products for senior leaders—briefs, decision memos, reports, and presentations.
- Present findings and recommendations to executives and cross-functional partners.
- Operational Execution
- Monitor program and project performance; adjust plans proactively to keep initiatives on track.
- Represent the CEO’s Office in meetings with County departments, community groups, and external agencies.

Candidates may have more experience in some areas than others, but successful hires will have at least three years of similar professional administrative experience and demonstrate:

- Strong project management experience in government or complex organizations.
- Skilled at leading cross-functional efforts, shaping consensus, and driving execution.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and stakeholder-management maturity.
