RoleWe are looking for a Solution Consultant to work alongside Account Executives on qualified opportunities, uncovering customer business objectives and pain points, and creating winning strategic sales strategies and presentations.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on qualified opportunities to uncover customer business objectives, pain points and project requirements.
- Create winning strategic sales strategies and presentations for prospects using best practices and industry expertise.
- Present the value of the Ivalua Platform with highly sophisticated and engaging demos.
- Provide functional responses to RFPs and RFIs and support all functional/technical activities from initial bid response through the entire sales cycle.
- Recommend and support different selling strategies and pre‑sales activities including Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to meet advanced prospect requirements.
- Work effectively with other parts of the organization, including Product Management and R&D, to support ongoing product improvements via prospect and customer feedback.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR a Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three years of professional experience, OR the equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Knowledge and experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain functions.
- Knowledge and experience with SaaS and Cloud‑Based applications.
- Ability to articulate the value of and sell SaaS/Cloud‑Based applications.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
Spend management, sourcing, contract management, eProcurement, eInvoicing, Spend Analytics, Direct Procurement MRP/ERP, Services procurement, Supplier Master Data management domains. - Staying current on the solution roadmap and competitive offers to improve industry knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and other software tools (forecasting / sales tracking).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong executive presence.
Travel: This role may require minimal travel – about 25% including a week‑long onboarding for new hires, team‑building events, and other occasional travel as needed.
CompensationTitle:
Solution Consultant
Base range: $105,000 – $175,000 with an uncapped commission plan and additional compensation factors. Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement (with company match), and more.
