Overview
The Sr. Manager of Investor Relations is responsible for supporting Coherus Oncology’s investor relations programs to effectively deliver corporate messages to the investment community. This includes executing upon programs to keep the financial community current on company performance and industry trends. The Sr. Manager of Investor Relations will also be involved in the annual shareholder meeting process, quarterly earnings release, and tracking financial analyst projections.
The role will maintain close coordination with other operating areas of the company and support the overall corporate communications strategy.
- Coordinate, track and capture summarized insights from investor meetings
- Monitor news sources for competitive information and investment personnel changes and identify key IR opportunities
- Provide support for all investor/analyst events (includes all logistical aspects of such events, and the preparation of presentation and briefing materials)
- Assist in responding to shareholder/analyst inquiries in a timely manner and schedule follow up meetings
- Create briefing templates and reports for senior management and board of directors
- Develop and maintain IR materials and messaging documents for use by company spokespersons
- Assist with the quarterly earnings process (includes press release, Q&A document, supporting materials, and conference call logistics)
- Manage corporate communications materials (press releases / social media content) and coordinate closely with the legal department on relevant public communications
- Organize and calendar scientific symposia, medical conferences and investor events
- Manage the department budget
- BA/BS in finance, business or communications, and MBA desired
- 1-2 years of progressive investor relations experience in a publicly traded biotech/pharmaceutical company preferred
- Corporate communications experience preferred
- Strong understanding and knowledge in business analytics and financial research
- Understanding of financial statements and valuation models
- Able to adapt quickly to a high-growth, fast paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills are required
- Outstanding cross-functional teamwork/skills and strong attention to detail
The Base Salary Range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000. Coherus considers various factors, including professional background and work experience, when determining base pay. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
