Class 1 Driver - Fresh & Frozen Fish Deliveries

Location: Redruth, Cornwall

Pay: £15.30 per hour (06:00-23:45) | £17.80 per hour (00:00-06:00) | Night Out Rate £25.00 (up to 2 per week)

Shift: Any 5 from 7 | Mostly night shifts with daytime rest

We're recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for a specialist seafood company based in Redruth, delivering fresh and frozen fish products across the UK and occasionally into Europe.

This role offers varied work including depot deliveries, fish market collections, and local site movements, ideal for drivers who enjoy night work and want a job that's more than just A to

B.

• Overnight deliveries to major UK distribution centres
• Collections from Brixham, Newlyn, and Mevagissey fish markets (some FLT work required - full training provided)
• Local deliveries and vehicle transfers between sites
• Occasional backloads and weekly collections from Grimsby & Nuneaton
• Manual handling involved (loading/unloading)
• Adherence to road safety and company procedures

• Middleton - 21:00
• Corby & Wakefield - 22:00
• Bridgwater - 23:45
• Newlyn & Mevagissey - 00:00-03:00
• Brixham - 04:00
• Local site duties - 06:00-08:00

• £15.30 per hour (day rate) | £17.80 per hour (night rate)
• £25.00 Night Out allowance (up to 2 per week)
• £0.50 hourly pay increase after 6-month probation
• 50+ hours per week typical
• Weekly pay & payslips
• FLT training provided
• Set rest days with consistent rota
• Varied work, no two shifts are the same

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Experience with overnight driving preferred
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• FLT experience a bonus (training provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
