Manufacturing Administrator (Part-Time 28.75 hours)
About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Manufacturing Administrator to provide essential support across a factory and office operations. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working within a manufacturing environment, is confident using computer systems, and has strong organisational skills.
You will play a key role in supporting production and inventory processes, working closely with the factory floor, supervisors, and office team. Full training will be provided on our ERP system, Epicor.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately closing production jobs within the ERP system
* Investigating and resolving negative stock discrepancies
* Processing stock transfers and maintaining accurate inventory records
* Supporting production planning and general factory administration
* Tracking and maintaining apprentice records and documentation
* Liaising with production teams, supervisors, and office staff
* Assisting with general administrative and office duties as required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Strong IT skills with confidence in learning new systems
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Clear written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Previous experience with ERP systems or stock control
* Ability to read or interpret basic technical or engineering drawings
* Experience supporting apprentices, training records, or compliance documentation
