• Shaping and scrutinising Water companies' statutory Water Resource Management Plans
• Providing expert input to the National Framework for Water Resources
• Managing programmes to deliver sustainable abstraction
• Drought planning and drought management
• Developing talent and skills in water planning
• National modelling for water resources and groundwater
• Lead a department of 70+ technical experts within Operations Catchment Services

• Champion health, safety and wellbeing; foster inclusion; support the growth of people
• Lead operational delivery of services, ensuring resources are used effectively and performance is efficient
• Participate in the Operations Catchment Services Leadership Team

• Authentic leadership with strong team focus
• Passion for developing individuals and creating an inclusive culture
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strategic thinking with ability to simplify and prioritise for clear action
• Working knowledge of water resources management and the wider environmental, political and economic pressures affecting the sector
