Veterinary Technician Assistant

Overview

PV Village Pet Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

• Solid general practice veterinary experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to effectively handle and restrain animals.
• Experience administering SQ, IM, and IV injections.
• Experience assisting with digital radiographs.
• Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in a veterinary clinic environment.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
• Must have active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Professional and friendly demeanor with staff and clients
• Able to work late day shifts and a regular weekend day.
• Full-time availability

Schedule:

5x8-hour shifts that rotate. Regular weekend shifts required

Compensation: starting at $18/hr, depending on experience and skill set
