Job Duties and Responsibilities- Float to assigned unit/s:
Med Surg/Tele or ICU - Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
- Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
- Assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- Work under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
- Answer phones and call lights
- Ensure unit is stocked with supplies
- Assist patient transporter as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Night Shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Days Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- One year of nursing assistant experience (preferred)
- 2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)
- Current BCLS certification (required)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer knowledge
