Position PurposeThe Micro‑cleaner is a critical role in the company which ensures the proper cleaning of the cleanroom, controlled environment and GMP laboratory environments.
ScheduleFull Time – Monday – Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines and continually monitor the cleanroom cleaning procedures to ensure all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly.
- Participate in continuous training: cGMP training, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
- Maintain detail document control using Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Micro‑clean all surfaces within the controlled environment including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
- Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
- Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
- Review changes to cGMP documentation and re‑train.
- Assist in cross‑training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and write simple correspondence.
- Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Perform all other duties as defined by supervisor.
- Become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Other more specific results will be assigned and measured.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Stand, walk, lift/climb, talk/hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms.
- Weight or force requirement:
Up to 40 pounds.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
- Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
