Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our inclusive team. As a Contracts Manager - Manager Level 2 (Mid-Level Manager), located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

• Provide advice and counsel to senior leadership on contractual risks and obligations along with interpreting terms and conditions
• Oversee strategy, coordination, approval, submittal and negotiation of proposals
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience including people management experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience including people management experience
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Leadership experience
• Contract management experience
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• No clearance required to start

• Contract administration or contract management experience in Defense or Aerospace industry
• Experience managing cost-type or firm fixed price (FFP) procurement contract types, with Other Transactions a plus
• Experience with federal government contracting requirements; FAR/DFAR interpretations
• Proposal development experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI access

Primary Level Salary Range: $ - $

The salary range represents a general guideline; base offers depend on scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, and a savings plan.
