Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Industrial Security Director - Level 1, to join our Space Superiority Division. We will consider the following major Space sector locations:
Dulles, VA
; Gilbert, AZ
; Linthicum, MD
; or Redondo Beach, CA

In this job, you will:
  • Continuously assess needs; develop, implement, and monitor program security strategy for programs within the SSD Division.
  • Collaborate with other Northrop Grumman security personnel and sectors for uniform policy and consistency.
  • Build strong relationships and partner closely with senior leadership, especially within the security and information technology organizations and across the Northrop Grumman enterprise.
  • Promote strategic relationships between internal resources and external entities, including government, vendors, and partner organizations.
  • Engage in special programs best‑practice sharing with peer organizations and executive briefings.
  • Develop the division’s security team to grow to its next level of maturity and scalability.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a world‑class security team with particular focus on building a bench of best‑in‑class special programs leaders for the future.
  • Create energy and enthusiasm at all levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the various operating units to understand security issues, negative trends, and/or compliance challenges and, when required, interact with the government on behalf of the division to address issues.
  • Be accountable for ensuring that overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
