Quality Program Manager

Overview

One of our fortune 10 tech client is looking for Quality Program Manager in Redmond, WA

Purpose of the Team: The team builds Windows Admin Center, an enterprise tool that allows administrators to monitor, diagnose, and manage servers locally or remotely.

• This role will contribute to:
• A major Angular front‑end upgrade of the product
• Building a new automated testing framework
• Developing and refining quality metrics and dashboards
• Coordinating with offshore developers and internal engineers to drive project execution and validation efforts

Disqualifiers: Candidates who are pure project managers without technical hands‑on capability will not be eligible. The role requires both PM skills and ability to install builds, validate environments, and understand testing frameworks.

• 5+ years PM experience in engineering environments
• Hands‑on experience with automated testing, quality metrics, and environment setup/validation
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools
• Experience with systems, OS, storage, or network environments
• Ability to synthesize technical details and proactively validate work rather than relying solely on status from others

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience writing automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, and is skilled in tracking software quality metrics. They are comfortable setting up test environments, validating builds, and designing dashboards to surface actionable insights. With at least two years of program or operations management experience, they excel at coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning customer expectations with development workflows.

Strong communication skills and a background in infrastructure tools is a plus.

• Experience with Automated Testing Proficiency. Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Experience with Quality Metrics and Visualization. Strong understanding of software quality metrics and the ability to design dashboards that surface these insights clearly.
• Experience with Environment Setup and Validation. Hands-on ability to configure and validate test environments, install builds, and troubleshoot tooling issues to ensure reliable test execution and data collection.
