Software Design Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud-based solutions and enterprise modernization, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer 4, you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting modernization and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Design Engineer 4

Location: Redmond, WA

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Modernize legacy systems by migrating project definitions, upgrading SDKs, and refactoring codebases.
• Build and maintain cloud services in Microsoft Azure, including RESTful Web APIs and backend components.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and improve system reliability.

• 8-10 years of experience in software development, with extensive hands-on experience in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Proven experience building and deploying services in Microsoft Azure, including RESTful Web APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  
  Experience with CI/CD workflows, build pipeline improvements, and code quality standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
