Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 3 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer 3, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative software development projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop tailored software solutions to meet client needs.
- Analyze and customize system software to align with client requirements and prepare detailed design and test documentation.
- Implement new or modify existing programs according to standards and automate testing processes for developed software.
- Perform post‑implementation validation and troubleshoot bugs during testing phases to ensure software quality and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in large systems software design and development.
- Strong proficiency in reading and writing code, with experience in troubleshooting and unit testing.
- Hands‑on experience with scripting languages such as Python, C#, and C++, and familiarity with YAML files.
- Experience working in both Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) environments, with expertise in collecting and analyzing system traces.
