Position Overview

As a Lube/Fuel Service Technician, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment including mobile power generators, wheel loaders, dozers, track hoes, skid steers, and more. You will manage the time for all assigned areas and track and manage parts and tools.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
  • Understand company safety policies and implement them in daily work, serving as a safety leader.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Apply Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Work safely in confined spaces.
  • Operate at heights safely.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions.

  • Handle problems professionally under high‑pressure situations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance schedules per company specifications.
  • Accomplish紹 any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty to a satisfactory level. ova own tools may be required.

Education/Experience
  • Prior fueling and technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Basic hand tools related to the work area.
Work Requirements
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
  • Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Type accurately and use a keyboard, with knowledge of database software.
Knowledge / Vieira / Skill Requirements
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Tanker, Hazmat, double/triple endorsements required.
  • Possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standards.
  • MSHA and OSHA training a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Windows‑based computers.

Physical Requirements

Employees frequently sit, climb, use hands to signal and handle equipment, stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands/arms above shoulders. They occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment

The work environment may expose employees to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather, and extreme cold/heat. Noise levels are usually moderate to loud. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
