Marketing Launch Coordinator

Overview

Mojang Studios is seeking a Marketing Launch Coordinator to support the planning and execution of global marketing moments across Minecraft. This role acts as a central point of coordination across marketing, product, creative, and channel teams, ensuring launch plans and campaign deliverables move smoothly from briefing to delivery. The ideal candidate is flexible, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You’ll help keep teams aligned, organized, and unblocked across key beats in the Minecraft GTM timeline.

• Launch Planning & Campaign Operations
  • Support development of launch plans, timelines, and checklists for integrated marketing moments.
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and cross-team deliverables across work streams.
  • Maintain project trackers, status reports, meeting agendas, notes, and documentation for visibility and alignment.
• Asset & Content Coordination
  • Manage creative intake, briefing, and routing of marketing and campaign assets.
  • Coordinate localization, QA, review cycles, and approvals.
  • Ensure assets meet brand and technical requirements; partner with the asset librarian to maintain DAM storage and organization.
  • Distribute final assets to internal teams and external partners as needed.
• Communication & Execution Support
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external agencies; manage feedback cycles and deliverable tracking.
  • Prepare briefs, presentations, recap documents, and asset lists/BOMs.
  • Support SOW/PO processes, invoicing, and operational documentation.
  • Handle day-to-day coordination needs and ad-hoc administrative tasks to keep teams moving.
• Measurement & Reporting
  • Track campaign-level KPIs and performance inputs from cross-functional partners.
  • Maintain logs of marketing requests and support post-campaign retrospectives by documenting learnings and insights.

• Strong organizational and project management skills; excellent follow-through.
• Clear, proactive communicator who can manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and adapting to shifting needs.
• Interest in gaming, entertainment, or consumer marketing (Minecraft familiarity a plus).
• Experience with tools like Click Up, Figma, Mural is a bonus.

• 1+ years of experience in marketing, production, or project coordination preferred.

  The ideal resume would contain demonstrated marketing experience; strong project/asset coordination experience (tracking hundreds of assets); excellent communication and attention to detail; ability to operate in a flexible, fast-changing environment and “roll up their sleeves” to get things done.

• Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: week of January 5th.
• Hard Skills Assessment Process:
  Two rounds—first with the sponsor and possibly another FTE; potential second with the sponsor's manager.
• Required Candidate Preparation:
  Candidates should have examples of their previous work within a marketing organization, including how they supported prior marketing organizations and project execution prior to the assessment.
