Location: Remote, working Pacific hours
Contract Type: temporary, 8 weeks

Compensation: $60-$75 hourly

ObjectiveExecutive Advisory Consultant – No‑LMS Strategy & Learning Ecosystem Transformation
Role
Purpose:
This role is responsible for executive‑level advisory support to define, justify, and communicate a No‑LMS strategy for the enterprise learning ecosystem. The consultant’s primary output is a C‑suite‑ready executive recommendation and roadmap that enables leadership to make a confident, evidence‑based decision to move away from a traditional LMS model.
The role is outcome‑driven, focused on strategy, decision framing, and executive storytelling, not system implementation or LMS administration.
Primary AccountabilityDeliver a clear executive recommendation and phased roadmap to achieve a No‑LMS future state, supported by business, risk, and compliance analysis, and presented in a concise, compelling executive deck.
Core Responsibilities Executive Advisory & Decision Framing- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on the future of learning technology
- Frame the No‑LMS decision in terms of:
- Business value and workforce outcomes
- Risk, compliance, and governance
- Cost, scalability, and operational impact
- Translate complex learning and technology considerations into clear executive choices and tradeoffs
- Define a No‑LMS vision aligned to:
- Enterprise compliance and audit requirements
- Identify:
- LMS capabilities that must be retained temporarily (e.g., compliance)
- Capabilities that can be decomposed and replaced
- Capabilities that should be eliminated entirely
- Produce a defensible executive recommendation supported by facts, risks, and mitigations
- Design a phased roadmap from current LMS dependency to a No‑LMS future state
- Clearly articulate:
- Transition phases and sequencing
- Decision dependencies and gating criteria
- Change and adoption considerations Balance bold transformation with enterprise feasibility
- Develop a concise, C‑suite‑ready executive deck that includes:
- Problem statement and strategic context
- Current‑state LMS constraints and gaps
- Transition roadmap and milestones
- Executive recommendation and decision ask
- Ensure the deck enables leadership to answer:
- “Why move to No‑LMS now?”
- “What risks do we accept or mitigate?”
- “What value is unlocked at each phase?”
