Description
Amazon’s project Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Seller and Partner Products (SPP) team at Leo, works on initiatives that support Leo's Enterprise (B2B), and Channel Partners (B2B2X) customer segments to deliver streamlined sales and ordering processes. We are looking for a talented and experienced Systems Development Engineer with an action-oriented mindset and a focus on exceeding expectations.
Export Control Requirements:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilitiesCI/CD Pipeline Management - Designing and maintaining automated "pipelines" that build, test, and deploy code every time a developer makes a change.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Instead of manually configuring servers, you write code (using tools like AWS CDK) to automatically "spin up" and manage cloud environments.
System Monitoring & Observability:
Setting up dashboards and alerts to track application health and proactively catch errors before users do.
Security:
Integrating security checks directly into the automated pipeline to ensure code is scanned for vulnerabilities before it reaches production.
Test automation:
Integrating test automation into automated pipeline.
Measuring and automating incident response.
Monitoring/reporting on pipeline issues and source control usage by the team.
Creating and maintaining Dev Ops SOPs for SPP development team.
Mentoring engineers on software engineering best practices
Basic Qualifications- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
- Experience with data handling, validation, and transformation.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
