Data Analyst

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience on either ad‑hoc data analysis or statistical analysis using any statistical languages (SAS or R). Should be able to make sense of data and analyze the information, make the best judgement of the data and present the outcome of that analysis.
• Exposure to sentiment analysis, forecasting/predictive analysis.
• 2+ years of strong SQL programming are required, including mining large amounts of data from different sources, performing complex transformation and processing on top of it, optimizing the complex scripts, and designing the architecture for mining the huge amount of data.
• 1+ years of experience in Power BI (Power View, Power Pivot Data Models, DAX, etc.).
• Expertise in Excel – should be able to present the data accurately using charts and graphs.
• 1+ years of experience writing PowerPoint decks and synthesizing insights.
• Excellent ability to work in a team environment, positive attitude, and an ability to have impact and influence.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with Power Pivot and Excel‑based reporting skills.
• Experience with Big Data (Cosmos, Hadoop, etc.).
• SQL BI experience with SSAS and cube development along with SSRS and SSIS.

• Visual Studio/TFS, Scrum / Agile work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment that includes an aggressive release schedule.
• Experience working within a geographically‑dispersed team.
• Experience working across multiple groups and teams.
• Heavy customer‑facing experience. Should be able to work in an agile manner with the customer, understand the business requirements and convert them into technical requirements, and implement the same.
