Planning & Analysis Analyst Consulting at a Fortune 50 Company
  • Build and maintain dynamic three‑statement financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to support corporate forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Conduct driver‑based forecasting, integrating operational KPIs to enhance budget accuracy and alignment.
  • Lead forecast variance analysis, identifying key drivers and recommending actionable steps to stakeholders.
  • Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate strategic alternatives and financial risks.
  • Support long‑term planning through DCF models, capital allocation frameworks, and investment return analysis.
  • Develop and maintain OpEx and Cap Ex models, offering clear visibility into spend categories and capital investments.
  • Partner with department heads and leadership during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgeting cycles.
  • Deliver insights on gross margin trends, pricing impact, volume mix shifts, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Translate financial insights into strategic recommendations and executive‑ready presentations.
Core Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
    Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or corporate finance (consulting experience is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar tools is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and present financial narratives clearly.
  • Experience with Fortune 50 clients or large enterprise environments is preferred.
