Key Job ResponsibilitiesAs an RF DVT Engineer, you will be part of the silicon design team and be responsible for the characterization, optimization, and validation of millimeter‑wave RF‑Digital SoCs used in state‑of‑the‑art phased‑array systems. You will work with RFIC circuit designers and system integration engineers to perform RF bench testing, debugging, and characterization for optimum RF Wireless SoC performance. You will specify procedures, assemble and calibrate microwave/RF test setups, and automate data collection in an engineering lab environment.
You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
- Develop and execute RF DVT test scripts in Python for characterizing/optimizing RFICs.
- Debug RFICs to optimize radio performance.
- Set up RF test benches for conducted/radiated measurements in the lab.
- Generate RF design/verification/test reports by working with RF systems engineers, RFIC design engineers, and integration teams.
- Use Git or other source control tools to check in/out test automation code.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in wireless RF SoC bring‑up and RF systems fundamentals.
- Solid experience of RF parametric testing such as IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise, etc.
- Experience with Python or C/C++ for test script development.
- Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment, such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, vector signal analyzer, vector signal generator, etc.
- Generating test plans for various performance parameters, RF design/verification/test reports by working with RF and systems and integration teams.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with basic metrics for determining the quality of digital communication signals measured.
- Experience in test automation development using object‑oriented programming in Python.
- Knowledge of load‑pull testing is desirable.
- Skills in data post‑processing using Excel, JMP or similar application.

The base salary range for this position is – USD annually, based in Redmond, WA, USA. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
