Test, Trouble shoot and Maintain Ericsson(legacy Nortel) and Nokia (legacy ALU) MGCFs in the Lab.
- Investigate issues in call failures in the network and design and develop fixes as needed
- Design and develop MGCF functionality as part of IMS network, including routers and billing capabilities as needed
- Lead in Inter
OP testing (IOT) working with multiple vendors - Provision and upgrade MGCF associated IP routers
- Maintain operational stability of Legacy Nortel (Now Ericsson) equipment (MGCF) in the lab
- Monitor, investigate & rectify alarms on the network elements
- Provision network elements & required datafill as required(MGCFC/MGW/)
- Provide weekly report on equipment status & activity
- Investigate & replace defective hardware
- Administer, manage & support backup & the backup server
