Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified candidates for school building administrator positions for the  school year. This general posting will be used to generate an applicant pool for these positions.

If you wish to be considered for any school administrator role for the  school year, please apply to this general posting. Applying to this posting will allow administrative candidates the time to organize and submit their application materials in preparation for upcoming job openings and receive notification of openings as they are announced.

As specific positions are determined, all candidates who apply to this general posting will be notified of the new job openings. At that time, candidates will have the opportunity to use their current application to apply to the specific administrator posting(s) they wish to be considered for.

Qualifications: Washington State Administrator credential with a Principal endorsement.

Application Information:

All Applicants: Should submit an online application. A letter of interest, resume, and two letters of recommendation, which should include current supervisor, are required in addition to the application materials. These documents should be uploaded to the application. Applicants will be asked to provide contact information for three references, including the current or most recent supervisor – these references will be asked to complete a confidential reference survey.

Candidates who apply to a specific Principal or Central Office Administrator roles will be required to complete a short one-way video interview in addition to the application. Candidates who apply to these types of roles will be emailed an individual link.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Immigration Reform and Control Act Requirement: All new employees are required by law to submit documentation to Human Resources proving eligibility to work in the USA by completing an employment eligibility form within three days of employment.

Applicant Disclosure Statement: Pursuant to Chapter 486, Laws of 1987, all applicants must complete the disclosure form provided by Human Resources at the time of application.

Background Check on Recommended Candidate: A reference check inquiry will also be made by Human Resources on recommended candidates. According to 1992 legislation ESHB 2518, all school employees with regularly scheduled unsupervised access to children are required to have a criminal background check, which includes fingerprints.
