Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Redmond, WA, for a Substitute Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, well-being, and developmental progress of infants and toddlers by implementing student-centered lesson plans and engaging in hands-on teaching. The Substitute Lead Teacher will conduct activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, including creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
This role requires collaboration with other educators and effective communication with parents and caregivers.
Qualifications
- ASL Fluency required
- Experience in Education, Lesson Planning, and Teaching to support child development and curriculum implementation
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff
- A genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers, and the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Certification in Early Childhood Education and relevant experience with infant and toddler care is highly desirable
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
