General Summary

The Assistant Lil’ Kickers Coordinator supports the Lil’ Kickers Coordinator in managing the Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute programs to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional experience for families. This role assists with scheduling, coach support, and customer communication while helping maintain program standards and safety guidelines.

Primary Job Functions
  • Assist with scheduling classes and supporting coaches to ensure programs run smoothly.
  • Minimum 15 hours per week coaching Lil' Kickers and Skills Institute classes.
  • Help train and mentor coaches under the direction of the Coordinator.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting with special requests.
  • Monitor classes and report any issues related to safety or program standards.
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintenance of fields and equipment.
  • Support marketing efforts, community events, and promotional activities.
  • Help manage recommendation cards and customer care calls to maintain strong relationships with families.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Coordinator or Manager.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Written Comprehension and Expression — Ability to read, understand and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Oral Comprehension and Expression — Ability to understand and communicate so others can understand ideas and information.
  • Computer — Ability to develop and maintain computer records in Word, Excel and other software required by TBCC and regulatory agencies.
Experience
  • Assistant Coordinators are team players who are reliable, creative, passionate, and willing to go the extra mile for the children and families in the program.
  • No prior coaching experience necessary (training provided).
  • Food Handler's permit required.

  • This position deals with outside personnel such as residents and clients on a regular basis with contact in various forms such as in person, phone and email.
