You will play a vital role in delivering next‑level results safely and on time across the Greater Puget Sound.
How You Will Make an ImpactPrepare, install, and bed critical underground pipes for storm, water, and sewer systems according to civil utility plans.
Set up pipe lasers, shoot grades, and perform precise calculations to ensure all installations meet strict project requirements.
Execute pipe runs ranging from 4 to 72 inches in diameter at depths reaching up to 25 feet.
Maintain rigorous safety standards by properly installing trench boxes and managing work within confined spaces.
Coordinate effectively with surveyors to interpret grade stakes and survey points for accurate layout execution.
Facilitate the movement, loading, and unloading of construction materials to keep the jobsite operating at peak efficiency.
Ensure all pipe installations successfully pass mandated TV and pressure testing through meticulous attention to detail.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction.
Proven ability to read and evaluate civil utility plans and grade stakes.
Practical experience in pipe laying, including cutting, layout, and checking slopes for conformance.
Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform manual labor in a fast‑paced environment.
Reliable source of transportation to commute to various project locations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow complex technical instructions.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience3 or more years of experience specifically within a civil pipe crew.
High School Diploma or GED.
Current First Aid training and Confined Space/Competent Person certifications.
Demonstrated proficiency in setting up lasers and calculating grades independently.
