Aboutthe Role
This position involves assessing, drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and service agreements with customers, subcontractors, and vendors. The role includes preparing contract documents, reviewing and redlining agreements, negotiating terms, and managing communications with internal and external clients.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and manage contract documents using existing templates.
- Review and redline contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Assist in negotiating contract terms to minimize risk exposure.
- Maintain accurate contract records in electronic management systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure contract compliance and address issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for contract-related inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 3‑5 years’ experience managing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract agreements.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracting and subcontracting language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self‑motivated, detail and deadline oriented.
- Proven ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
- Engineering or Construction Management related background.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracting to include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Washington Salary Range: $65,000 USD – $85,000 USD
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
