Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager 2

Location: Fully Remote (U.S. – any time zone; Dallas preferred but not required)

Duration: 7 Months (Extension possible but dependent on transition off contractor support)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

Pay Rate Range: $20 to $25/hr

• Establish and maintain communication across business units and project teams
• Maintain storage and retrieval of project communications and business metrics
• Create, analyse, and distribute operational reports
• Support resource allocation and staffing processes
• Review contracts, cost proposals, and project supplements
• Build and maintain project/work breakdown structures
• Establish and document business processes
• Track budgets and expenditures; monitor costs against forecasts
• Identify potential budget overruns and recommend solutions

• Data Analysis – 2+ years
• M365 Suite (Excel, Office, Teams) – 2+ years
• Cross-team collaboration & ability to manage repetitive operational tasks

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and stakeholder/customer service skills
• Ability to analyse business trends and financial data
• Knowledge of business operations, resource planning, and budgeting principles

• Experience supporting larger programs or resource management
• Prior Microsoft experience (nice to have)
• Strong stakeholder communication and soft skills
• Experience in consulting, client/project management, or business development

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field AND 1+ year of experience in consulting, project management, business development, or similar
• OR
  • Bachelor’s degree AND 2+ years of relevant experience
