Procurement Specialist

Job Title:

Procurement Specialist. The primary role is to lead and manage sourcing strategies within defined categories or sub-categories, engaging with senior stakeholders. The position involves overseeing the sourcing process, preparing materials and reports for management, and providing procurement advice to various business areas.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define and implement category strategy plans for sourcing goods and services.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business drivers and how they impact business strategy.
• Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
• Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and budgeting with appropriate risk management.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key existing strategic suppliers and identify potential new partners.
• Monitor compliance with the sourcing process, acting as an internal consultant for each stage.
• Develop category or sub-category strategy plans and sourcing pipelines.

• Expertise in procurement and contract management.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong digital and analytical skills.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Bachelor s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management.
• Experience with MSFT CO+I, Ariba, iCertis, Compass, and other related tools.
• Fleet management or fleet rental background is a plus.

This position is based in a hybrid work environment, located in Studio C, Redmond, WA. The role requires a standard 40 hours per week, with an additional 5 hours per week possible as a precautionary measure.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Redmond, WA.
