All general administrative support positions are expected to perform common office procedures such as answering phones, providing information and customer service to students, employees and/or the community, word processing or data entry, and maintaining records while preserving confidentiality. Although certain recurring tasks or responsibilities may be assigned to specific individuals within an office with multiple support positions, all employees in these roles are expected to contribute to keeping the office functioning effectively and efficiently.
This position is open until filled, with first consideration given to applications received by January 29th, 2026.
- Utilize telecommunication systems to respond to others or direct to the appropriate person.
- Collect data and maintain various files and records to provide up-to-date and accurate information.
- Prepare and submit required state student enrollment reports (e.g., P223) to obtain state funding.
- Develop systems and/or procedures to monitor assigned activities and/or program components to ensure compliance with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.
- Resolve enrollment reporting issues with schools, other educational agencies and the state.
- Respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external parties to provide information, facilitate communications and/or directions among parties.
- Proofread reports prepared by administrators and draft reports going to others, including the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate a variety of programs and/or activities to ensure availability of facilities and equipment and the delivery of services.
- Monitor budget and make recommendations.
- Assist parents and members of the community in obtaining information.
- Model appropriate behavior for staff and students.
- Follow LWSD policies, procedures and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The work area is generally hazard‑free, clean, and maintained under minimal temperature variations. Physical demands include frequent reaching, handling, fingering and/or feeling; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling; seldom climbing and balancing; and seldom stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling.
Education and Experience Required- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of job‑related experience with increasing levels of responsibility; OR an AA degree and two years of job‑related experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience with Word and Excel software programs desired.
