Yard Technician - Redmond

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician in Redmond, OR. We are looking for someone experienced in operating construction or farm equipment, with a background in basic mechanics and passionate about safety, quality, and customer service.

• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent‑ready
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard

This is a full‑time position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays as well.

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to meet all drug and alcohol testing requirements and commit to a drug‑free workplace
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A strong focus on safety

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including Saturdays
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned
• Ability to comprehend job‑related duties in both verbal and written formats
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times
• Medical card preferred
• Mechanical background preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift

• Standing: 50%
• Walking: 45%
• Sitting: 5%
