** General Description
** Provide maintenance on specialized commercial HVAC systems according to Company standards providing the customer with high quality experience.
** Other position details
*** Start up and service mechanical and electronic equipment.
* Utilize hand tools and test equipment to perform work.
* Review work order and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment.
* Discuss assignment with customer’s representative and inspect installation site to verify that electrical wires, conduit, switches, and circuit breakers are installed according to specification.
* Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to detect malfunction and repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
* Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
* Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
* Document service calls and start ups noting product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.
** QUALIFICATIONS

** Education & Experience Requirements
*** High School Diploma or equivalent; additional trade schools or certifications a plus
* Knowledge of industry products/equipment a plus.
* Knowledge and experience with a variety of hand tools.
* Experience in making repair and replace decisions.
* Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
* Mechanical aptitude and general tool knowledge
* Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
* Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written.
