Works with the maintenance manager, supervisors, and technicians to stock and maintain a spare parts warehouse. Manages preventative maintenance plans for equipment, including schedules and parts required. Works closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure that all preventative maintenance is completed on time. Reviews equipment usage data and failure trends to determine spare parts stock with their relevant stock quantities. Records and maintains a list of open issues by machine and department.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain PM schedules
- Maintain accurate records of critical component rebuilds to help predict future rebuild requirements
- Develop and maintain spare parts inventory with relevant stock levels
- Research alternatives for replacement components
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
