BASX, located in Redmond, OR, was founded in 2014 by two entrepreneurial engineers who had a vision for providing precision air handling systems. In 2024, BASX is an industry leader in innovative HVAC solutions, now part of AAON.

Our goal is to partner with companies across industries (data centers, clean rooms, surgery centers) to solve complex HVAC challenges. We manufacture >90% of our units in Central Oregon.

Entry‑Level Assemblers will support our production operations on a fast‑paced assembly line, rotating between assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping to learn multiple trade skills.

• Install and fit parts for heating / cooling and ventilation equipment.
• Consult with manufacturers, designers, line leads and Supervisors.
• Perform precision assembling.
• Perform basic low‑voltage electrical wiring.
• Read and interpret engineering specifications from text and drawings.
• Attach brackets, hinges, or clips to secure parts.
• Position and align subassemblies in jigs.
• Fit and fasten sheet metal coverings to surface areas.
• Bolt, screw, or rivet accessories to fasten, support, or hang components and subassemblies.
• Perform basic woodworking tasks. Includes cutting, nailing, and screwing various wood assemblies.
• Perform basic pipe fitting tasks and assemble piping components.
• Doing joinery work that includes installing flashing and securing structural supports.
• Preparing, configuring, and assembling the required tools, including ladders, measuring tapes, hammer drill machines, and straight edges.
• Comply with relevant regulatory practices related to construction projects and safety requirements.
• Carry construction materials and metal stud frames from one place to another within the plant and assist forklift operators with the transportation process.
• Operate power hand tools.

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Position requires bending, stooping, crouching, and climbing.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and work from ladder.
• Work supported by harness and fall protection at heights up to 30 ft.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Familiar with the use of various hand tools, tape measure, and power tools.
• Reliable, punctual with a positive attitude, self‑starter.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screening and background check.
