QualificationsSeeking a Maintenance Supervisor with manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day administrative tasks as well as overseeing production in their area, supervising up to 10 employees.
Responsibilities- Creating preventive maintenance procedures and checklists
- Managing the work order process effectively
- Handling emergencies
- Creating troubleshooting guidelines
- Developing a maintenance strategy to support production operations and the organization
- Scheduling proactive maintenance tasks
- Prioritizing work across the team
- Performing inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality
- Hiring and training maintenance staff
- Coordinating more complex maintenance work
- Forecasting, ordering, and price negotiation of parts and inventory
- Managing subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work
- Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment
- Looking for new ways to improve productivity and cut costs
- Supporting the development of company policies and standard operating procedures
