Job Description
The Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and completion of cross‑functional projects within the BASX research and development and product validation group. This role ensures that project goals are met on time and within scope by coordinating resources, tracking progress, and maintaining effective communication among stakeholders. The position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The Project Manager plays a key role in supporting the research & development, product validation group and functional teams by organizing project & testing lab activities, facilitating communication, and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. This position requires a solid understanding of project methodologies and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Primary Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To- Support the development of project schedules, timelines, and milestones with the job’s project manager.
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with deadlines, customers, and quality standards.
- Maintain open and timely communication with team members and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the Redmond Testing Laboratory schedule with lab management.
- Execute and track purchasing requests for the Redmond testing lab.
- Coordinate material deliveries to the Redmond testing lab with the material handling, inventory, receiving and shipping departments.
- Track and coordinate product and component deliveries from within the company and outside resources.
- Coordinate and support customer visits to the Redmond testing lab. This will include organizing customer events, catering and published materials.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct post‑project evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting or coordinating projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively across departments. The Project Manager must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle occasional high‑pressure situations.
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
