Job Description
Manage, plan, and coordinate activities of a project to ensure that the goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within the allotted time and budget parameters.
EssentialJob Duties And Responsibilities
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the assigned projects, or sub-tasks
- Manages project supervisors/leaders assigned to specific projects
- Collaborates with project staff to outline the work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Manages subcontractors and their workforce
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget
- Reviews project status with the project team and modifies schedules or plans as required
- Prepares project reports for management and other stakeholders
- Works with project personnel to advise on technical issues and to resolve problems
- BS in Engineering
- Related field and / or related experience
- Familiar with heavy lifting equipment capabilities
- Proficient in Office Suite
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with OEMs and contractors
- Good negotiation abilities
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
