Job DescriptionWe are pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for two Redmond School District staff members to serve as Belonging Together Team Leaders. This is an extra‑responsibility stipend position for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking individuals dedicated to promoting and improving belonging district wide. This small team is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students, staff, and families within our school district.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend Belonging Leadership meetings and training outside of standard hours.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance belonging and inclusivity across all schools in the district.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to create welcoming classrooms and school environments.
- Design and facilitate professional development sessions on inclusive practices and cultural competency.
- Analyze district data to identify areas for improvement in creating a sense of belonging for all.
- Engage with diverse community stakeholders to gather input and build partnerships.
- Create and review policies to ensure they promote inclusivity and belonging.
- Develop resources and materials to support inclusive practices in schools.
- Coordinate and participate in events that celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of belonging initiatives and make data‑driven recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a resource for staff, students, and families on matters related to inclusion and belonging.
- Serve as a liaison for the Community Educational Equity Advisory Committee.
- Act as a role model in all aspects of professionalism.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Can fluently communicate verbally and in writing; can respond to common inquiries or complaints from students, parents, staff or members of the community; can draft simple correspondence and routine reports; can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Can apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; can deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in education, diversity and inclusion work, or related field.
- Strong understanding of inclusive practices and cultural competency in educational settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting belonging and inclusivity in education.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Position Type: Extra‑Duty
Salary: $1,933 to $2,048 Stipend
