Regional Land Development Manager
Hayden Homes is hiring a Regional Land Development Manager to oversee land development within the Oregon I‑5 region (Salem, Albany, Eugene, Medford). The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a construction‑related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience, and a minimum of five years in residential construction land development, civil engineering, or a related area.
Responsibilities- Conduct due diligence on potential land development opportunities and research proposed projects.
- Facilitate the process of obtaining land entitlements from municipalities, including attending neighborhood meetings and city council hearings.
- Communicate needs and standards to consultants and review subdivision design for compliance and efficiency.
- Coordinate final platting and land entitlements from municipalities.
- Manage civil contractors, vendors, budgets, and schedules throughout the infrastructure construction process.
- Maintain clear communication with the regional team, executive team, local jurisdictions, and contractors to resolve miscellaneous matters related to residential subdivisions.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction‑related field, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience. - Professional Engineering license preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and PDF editors such as Adobe or Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of heavy civil construction contracting processes, residential infrastructure, and land use entitlement and division laws.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with public officials, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
Hayden Homes offers a competitive total rewards package with a base salary of $95,000 to $120,000, quarterly bonuses, and annual profit sharing.
