** An Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining detailed records of non-routine, moderately complex receivable transactions, including invoices, statements, and customer correspondence. This role ensures company is paid accurately and on time for the services or products they provide.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* · Prepares, verifies, and processes invoices for goods or services provided to clients.
· Follows up on, collects, and allocates payments received.
· Monitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
· Investigates and resolves customer queries.
· Generates age analysis reports to review outstanding accounts.
· Performs account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and generates financial reports for management review.
· Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Establishes and maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with customers.
· Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports.
· Participates in credit control activities and decision making.

* Education and Experience Requirements:

** High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Associates degree in accounting or finance, preferred.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication abilities.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
