Project Manager - Glazing

Our client is a contracting firm that specializes in commercial doors, frame, hardware and is headquartered in Redlands, CA. They handle projects across Southern CA including San Diego, Los Angeles, Coachella Valley, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Their services include procurement, design build, modernizations, and new construction and their clients span a wide range of industries including civic, public works, educational, healthcare, aviation, parks, recreation, religious, military and private sector.

Currently they are looking to hire another Project Manager for their glazing department and this position will be based out of their HQ in Redlands, CA.

They are looking to expand their estimating/project management division with a qualified individual who possesses a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and good computer/word processing skills. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects and tasks at one time. This is a fast-paced environment and requires very focused attention to detail.

• Assist in day-to-day construction management operations
• Manage projects for the glazing division
• Customer/Vendor communication
• Ensuring project is being built correctly
• Project schedule management and forecasting
• Submittal creation and implementation
• Purchasing

• Extensive knowledge of the door/frame/hardware industry
• 5+ years of project management experience is required
• Proficient at reading architectural plans and specifications
• Ability to manage projects from estimating stage through to final installation
• Candidates must team oriented and self-motivated
