Overview
Position Overview The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support within a designated functional area. This role partners with management and employees to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives. Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, compliance, recruiting support, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities
- HR Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, training, and leave management.
- Recommend and implement actions to improve results and support organizational goals.
- Recruitment & Staffing
- Assist with recruiting activities, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating job fairs.
- Maintain job postings and collaborate with staffing agencies and college placement offices.
- Policy & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including workers’ compensation and leave administration.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a resource for supervisors on performance management and corrective action.
- Conduct investigations related to workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Performance Management & Training
- Coordinate performance review processes and ensure fairness and accuracy.
- Assess training needs and deliver programs to support employee development.
- Onboarding & Orientation
- Oversee new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Compensation & Job Evaluation
- Assist with job description development and wage evaluations.
- Support decisions related to promotions, transfers, and pay adjustments.
- Employee Engagement
- Organize recognition programs and activities to promote a positive work environment.
- Administrative Oversight
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
- Audit HR processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

CompensationCompensation: Salary Rate: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
