** Your Role as Senior Mental Health Clinician
** The Senior Mental Health Clinician is an experienced practitioner who provides clinical care co-ordination and delivers intervention to young people experiencing complex social and emotional wellbeing challenges as a part of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which aligns with the strategic goals of Mental Health Services, Community Allied Health and Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ).
The Senior Mental Health Clinician will provide contemporary youth-focused, youth-friendly mental health services including:
Demonstrated ability and experience in the provision of counselling and case management of young people presenting with a varied physical and mental health issues. Demonstrated ability and proficiency in the timely receipting, appropriate documenting and accurate record keeping into computerised programs.

Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills particularly in establishing and maintaining rapport with staff, young people and their families and carers.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a multi-disciplinary team member. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage individual caseload whilst meeting service and young people’s needs. Demonstrated ability to recognise other needs that WMQ can assist young people with and provide relevant and timely referrals.
