• Education - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at an ABET-accredited university with coursework in Circuit Analysis and Embedded Systems (or related field) is required.
• Experience - 0-2 years of electronic design experience (preferred).
• Previous internship or Co-op experience (preferred).
• Familiar with Linux, QT, programming SOMs and DSPs, and embedded system design (preferred).
• Strong writing skills and ability to work on a team.
• Excellent math skills

• Design, develop, and environmental monitoring instrumentation.
• Design electronic circuits with analog, digital, and optical components.
• Program microcontrollers, SOMs, and DSPs.
• High-Level Programming Languages, i.e., C++, C#.
• Strong communication, planning, and organization skills.
• Preparation of specifications, SOW, and test documentation.
• Report engineering progress weekly.
• Create and maintain design documentation.
• Equipment hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the design team.
• Embedded Systems Design.
• Electronic hardware troubleshooting on both new and legacy designs.
• Experience in the design of opto-electronics and lasers is preferred.

• Must be able to type and use a computer.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from the floor to above your head.
• Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
