Job Overview

Reporting to the Peri-anesthesia Nurse Manager, this position serves as a liaison between the Preadmission Testing Department and the Medical Providers Offices to ensure all preoperative documents are received. The Preadmission Testing Liaison will be responsible for the follow-up of identified deficiencies, in collaboration with the Preadmission Testing RNs. The Preadmission Testing Liaison will also serve as the liaison for communication with Spine and Joint Institute personnel and case management to ensure the needs of the Spine and Joint patients are met.

Education / Training / Experience

Highly proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills necessary to interact and deal effectively with a wide variety of individuals, a self-starter type individual.

High level of verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in organizing, coordinating, and promoting a sales effort/strategy, preferably in a health care environment.

Knowledge of health care provider environment, preferred.
