About the Practice
Based in Redditch, Worcestershire, Vets4pets Trescott Road is a successful and growing first‑opinion small‑animal practice. We pride ourselves on providing care to our clients and patients to the same standard that we expect for our own pets. With full clinical freedom, we deliver high standards of best medicine.
We have a strong focus on teamwork and work‑life balance. We support a Just Culture in a very supportive environment. Our practice is a RCVS and ISFM accredited nurse training centre.
We continuously and actively update our policies and procedures to follow current evidence‑based veterinary medicine, with all the team encouraged to get involved.
Our premises are large and purpose‑built, featuring an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. The practice includes five consult rooms, two operating theatres, a diagnostic suite (with digital X‑ray and ultrasound), a dental suite (with dental X‑ray), comprehensive Idexx In‑house laboratory equipment, a tonopen, and all the other usual tools. Separate dog, cat, small furry and isolation wards are on a separate floor from the others.
Team- 3 full‑time veterinary surgeons
- 6 full‑time registered veterinary nurses
- 3 full‑time animal nursing assistants
- 1 full‑time student nurse
Nurses work a 40‑hour week, with one full weekday off. The weekend rota is 1:3. After working a weekend, the following week you receive a long weekend off. No out‑of‑hours shift is required.
Professional Development and BenefitsGenerous CPD allowance, with further learning encouraged. The practice holds Vetstream and ISFM membership.
