Interim Credit Controller

Temp to Perm | Part Time (20 - 25 hours, 5 days)

Immediately Available

• Proactively follow up on overdue invoices by phone, email, and written correspondence
• Accurately allocate incoming payments and complete daily cash postings
• Resolve customer disputes and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and issue sales invoices and credit notes
• Process a range of payments, including card transactions, direct debits, and international payments
• Support purchase ledger activities as required
• Assist with month‑end tasks, reporting, and financial close processes
• Negotiate and agree payment plans with customers when appropriate
• Promote and encourage customer adoption of Direct Debit
• Maintain precise records and audit‑ready documentation

• Demonstrated experience in credit control and debt collection
• Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
• Motivated by targets and commercially aware
• Strong Excel capability and comfortable using online financial systems
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to remain effective and focused under pressure
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and work ethic
