Smile Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Redditch
, part of Bordesley Multi Academy Trust
. This is a part-time maternity cover position
, working 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday) from December 2025 until the end of the academic year
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking to make a real difference within a supportive and high-achieving school environment.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.
• Share planning and assessment responsibilities as part of a job share.
• Create engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for pupils’ progress and behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 classroom.
• A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a job share.
